Experteer Overview As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will own the company’s statutory accounting and lead full general ledger closings. You’ll ensure accurate, well‑documented records and audit‑ready financials, with strong focus on internal controls in a fast‑moving fintech. You will work autonomously while collaborating with the accounting team to improve processes and efficiency. This role offers meaningful impact by supporting compliant financial reporting and tax readiness in a dynamic environment.Retribuzione / Benefits
Full General Ledger ownership and timely postings with robust documentation
Oversee subledgers, AP/AR ledgers, and bank reconciliation to clear suspense accounts
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations for traceability
Manage fixed assets, capex accounting, and payroll accounting
Coordinate payroll accounting with external providers and ensure accruals and reconciliations align with statutory records
Support statutory auditors with structured documentation
Prepare accounting data for VAT and other tax filings ensuring consistency




Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes, controls, and documentation
Adapt and take initiative to shape the role in a dynamic fintech context
Responsabilità
~≥5 years of accounting experience in fintech, finance, or corporate services with exposure to full closing cycles
~ Solid knowledge of local accounting principles (Italian and/or Luxembourg GAAP); IFRS exposure is a plus
~ Proactive mindset and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
~ Ability to independently manage complex accounting topics and contribute to the Accounting team’s overall quality
~ Structured ERP experience and strong analytical and advanced spreadsheet skills
~ Experience with automation, data tools, or scripting‑based workflows is a plus; SAP S/4HANA knowledge is a strong plus
~ Fluent in Italian and English
