**Facility Coordinator - Rome, Italy** **University of Notre Dame** **Applications will be accepted until 02/09/2025.** This full-time position is responsible for oversight of the facilities in Rome, ensuring smooth operations on both the maintenance and administrative sides. Occasional support with other international facilities may be required. **Specific responsibilities include**: - Doing minor maintenance works and planning/supervising major building maintenance activities
- Creating reports of breakdowns or damages and actively doing the repairs (when possible) or planning them
- Maintaining building safety to protect occupants and visitors
- Overseeing fire prevention and security systems
- Planning and executing emergency procedures
- Supervising maintenance, security and cleaning staff
- Performing routine building inspections and producing condition reports
- Planning preventive building works and refurbishments
- Maintaining records relating to maintenance and costs
- Overviewing invoices and monitoring costs
- Supporting with national and international administrative activities
- Offering occasional support to the events office **Attributes and Skills**:
