Experteer Overview As Finance Lead for Symrise Italy, you own the full finance operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, tax, treasury, and reporting in line with local GAAP and IFRS. You report to the Regional EAME Controller, lead one direct report, and act as the primary contact for auditors, banks, and authorities. You collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver timely insight, drive governance, and support strategic decision-making. You will operate in a dynamic, cross-border environment, shaping financial controls and compliance with group standards.
Retribuzione / Benefits Ensure accurate bookkeeping according to local GAAP, IFRS and group policies
Oversee all tax matters including VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax and transfer pricing
Ensure compliance with local regulations and group requirements (ESG, DAC6, IFRIC 23, Pillar 2)
Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting (Group and statutory) and prepare budgets/forecasts
Manage cash flow, payments,

and liquidity planning; oversee banking relationships
Implement and maintain internal controls; prepare board/shareholder meeting documentation
Provide financial risk management and insurance oversight; ensure compliance processes
Serve as key contact for auditors, banks, and local authorities; collaborate with cross-functional teams
Responsabilità 8-10 years of experience in finance, ideally in an international environment
Strong accounting and tax expertise, including IFRS
Hands‐on, structured, able to own a stand‐alone role
Strong analytical mindset with practical, business‐oriented approach
Experience with accounting and reporting tools (e.g. Mago, HFM) and advanced Excel
Fluent in English and Italian; able to work with local and global stakeholders
