Role: Patent Attorney – Mechanical or similar
Our client, a prestigious and renowned private practice in Italy, is seeking a mid-senior level Patent Attorney with a degree in mechanics or similar technical field.
Situated in the heart of Italy, this firm is at the forefront of delivering comprehensive IP-related legal services, tailored to meet the diverse needs of their clients who are keen on optimising the value of the intellectual property they possess.
As a Patent Attorney, you will be responsible for protecting intellectual property rights in Italy and abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
Drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the fields of mechanics and the like.
Conducting patentability, freedom-to-operate, and infringement analyses.




Managing patent portfolios and providing strategic advice to the business on IP matters.
Advising on IP-related transactions, including licensing and technology transfer agreements.
Monitoring third-party patents and potential infringement risks.
Supporting litigation proceedings related to IP matters.
Qualifications:
Have a degree in the mechanical technical field
Strong knowledge of Italian and European patent law and practice.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in English and Italian (written and spoken).
