Job Description
DXC Technology Italy is looking for a Technical Leader to join our Application Service DXC Team.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and execute business and technical software solutions to implement new or enhanced (upgrades or conversions).
Analyze, identify and resolve business and/or technical problems using appropriate solutions/tools.
Interact with client‑facing colleagues (Business Analyst and Project Manager) to understand the business environment, technical context, and organizational strategy.
Stay current on emerging tools, techniques and technologies.
Lead a small team, mentor and guide less senior developers in designing solutions.
Education and Skills
Bachelor or Master degree (technical fields such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering preferred).
Experience and knowledge of Digital Development Services, Agile Application Development, DevOps, cloud‑based applications and micro‑services architecture and patterns.
Strong technical experience writing code in Java EE, Spring (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot),



single‑page application frameworks, micro‑services, Docker, design patterns, architecture design, SQL and NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with software development processes (Agile, Waterfall) and DevOps practices.
Ability to use web‑development tools for new applications.
Basic understanding of modern software design and development methodologies.
Strong analytical skills, problem‑solving focus, decision‑making ability, teamwork.

Compensation & Benefits
The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €40,000, determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement and based on objective and gender‑neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience, and skills.
