Corrugator Supervisor (2nd Shift) Our Corrugator Supervisor directly supervises all employees assigned to the department on various shifts. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; conflict resolution; team-building; coaching and leading employees to improve; addressing complaints and resolving problems; documentation; and setting an example of professional behavior, attitude and performance.
Qualifications Education Requirements: High school diploma or GED.
Experience Requirements: Five years of manufacturing experience. Corrugated packaging is a plus. Strong, proven leadership qualities required.
Skills: Ability to read and understand English; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; ability to write reports and correspondence.
Mathematical skills:



Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate; apply concepts of high school math.
Reasoning skills: Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form; deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
Computer skills: Familiar with Microsoft Office products and software that tracks starch usage and updating quality related data for food safety compliance.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes including managing inventory and ordering as needed.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands and fingers to handle and feel; reach with arms and hands; stop, kneel, crouch and crawl. The employee is regularly required to sit.
