In order to strengthen our **Indirect Purchasing** **Department**we are looking to hire a **_Buyer_**, based in **Maranello**(Italy). **The Indirect purchasing department deals with purchases related to Sales & Marketing (consulting purchases, vehicle logistics services, event setup), Digital & Data, Infrastructure, etc.** In this position, you will be responsible for assigned category manage support sourcing process and definition of supplier scouting and sourcing strategy. As part of the team, the main responsibilities will be: - Manage negotiation and supplier relationships for commodities under own responsibility, ensuring achievement of assigned cost targets and efficiency objectives;
- Monitor the supplier allocation process, ensuring each phase of the sourcing plan from pre RFQ (request for quotation) to recommendation;
- Be primary point of contact in supplier relations.



**Required Profile** In order to succeed in this challenging role, you will ideally have achieved excellent academic results with a Master-degree in **Economics,** **Management** or Mechanicals Engineering** and you will have gained at least **2-3 years** dedicated experience in **Purchasing.** In Ferrari you must exhibit the capability to think analytically, target-oriented and structured. You need to demonstrate strong communication skills (such as the ability to listen as well as in-depth reasoning). You will be expected to work independently as well as integrate as part of a team. We require attention to the detail and awareness of the responsibility that comes with your role. You are motivated to adapt to and learn from the company culture. It goes without saying that you relish a challenge. The effective completion of your daily tasks requires you to be a proficient user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).
