Remote Liquid Staking Backend Engineer

Folks Finance is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the development of new liquid staking solutions. You will be responsible for architecting, developing and maintaining backend systems to support our liquid staking products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including smart contract and backend engineers, to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities Design, implement and maintain staking infrastructure.
Collaborate with the economics team to identify and analyse staking opportunities.
Collaborate with blockchain engineers to integrate smart contracts and SDKs for interacting with protocol.
Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in DeFi and blockchain technologies.
Requirements Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Backend/DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Blockchain: Knowledge of blockchain consensus and staking mechanisms.
DevOps: Proficient with DevOp practices and tools.
AWS Services:
Skilled working with cloud providers like AWS to build complex systems.
Smart Contracts: Ability to write in Solidity with a focus on security best practices.
Databases: Knowledgeable about databases and SQL.
Version Control: Expertise in Git.
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to work in an agile environment.
