Computational Designer

Description

The BIMON team is looking for a resource to join the Automation and R&D; team. The activities to be performed will mainly focus on computational design strategies, parametric and automated modeling in contact with the architectural team and plant team, production of custom scripts for BIM process optimization.

Essential Skills

- Experience related to computational design processes in architecture
- Experience related to managing the data and information content of a BIM model
- Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit
- Good knowledge of Dynamo for Revit
- Good knowledge of Python programming language, Revit API and its use within Dynamo or strong willingness in learning the same




- Strong interest in parametric 3D modeling in general
- Spirit of autonomy, willingness to learn innovative processes aimed at team growth

Desired skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Building/Civil Engineering, Architecture or Computer Science degree with a strong interest in the construction industry
- Prior experience in developing custom scripts
- Knowledge of the C# programming language or willingness to learn the same
- Knowledge of the current regulatory basis for Building Information Modeling
