Michael Page Accounting & Reporting - Oversee the accounting and financial reporting activities of 8 SPVs. - Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closings. - Review general ledger accounts, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions. - Coordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements and supporting schedules. - Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal procedures. Tax & Regulatory Compliance - Coordinate tax compliance activities, including VAT, corporate income tax, and withholding tax requirements, with the support of external advisors. - Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations. - Support external audits and act as a key point of contact for auditors and consultants. Team Coordination - Manage and coordinate a team of 4 accountants, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities. - Monitor workload allocation and ensure timely completion of all accounting activities. - Promote and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes. Stakeholder Management - Collaborate closely with Asset Management, Property Management, Treasury, and other internal functions. - Support the Finance Manager in responding to ad hoc requests from management and shareholders. - Liaise with banks, external consultants, service providers, and auditors. Process Improvement - Identify and implement efficiencies in accounting and reporting processes. - Contribute to finance transformation and automation initiatives where appropriate. - Support special projects related to acquisitions, disposals, financing transactions, and corporate reorganizations.
- Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant) is considered a plus. - 5-10 years of experience in accounting, audit, or finance functions. - Previous exposure to real estate, real estate funds, property companies, SPV structures, or asset-intensive businesses is preferred. - Proven experience coordinating or supervising junior team members. - Good english level Technical Skills - Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and statutory reporting requirements. - Good understanding of tax and compliance matters. - Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems. - Experience in complex legal entity and multi-company environments. Personal Attributes - Strong leadership and organizational skills. - High attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. - Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
