Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
The Branch Finance & Tax Manager plays a key role in the financial governance of the Branch, with full responsibility for accounting processes, tax compliance, and statutory obligations. The role combines hands‑on technical expertise with end‑to‑end ownership, acting as the main financial counterpart for Finance HQ, the Group Tax Department, and local operational teams. This position offers strong exposure to international accounting and VAT matters within a truly multinational environment, with regular interaction with colleagues and external advisors across different jurisdictions. In addition, the role provides direct visibility and interaction with the Tax & Accounting Director, with the opportunity to be involved in strategic and cross‑border projects, contributing to the evolution of the Group’s finance and tax framework.
Job responsibilities
- Accounting Management
- Ensure end‑to‑end supervision of general and analytical accounting activities for the Branch.
- Control and record incoming and outgoing invoices,



ensuring correct VAT set‑up and compliance with multi‑branch/multi‑VAT structures.
- Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet controls.
- Support and coordinate closing activities (monthly, quarterly, yearly) in collaboration with HQ Administration.
- Oversee documentation related to intra‑branch and intra‑EU flows (e.g., shipping documents, CMR, proof of transport).
- Tax Compliance
- Act as first‑line owner of tax compliance, ensuring full accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and Intrastat declarations in line with local requirements.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure effective internal controls.
- Support internal/external audits and interact with tax authorities where needed.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring alignment on local compliance topics.
