As one of the world's largest integrated pulp and paper companies, with over 100,000 employees worldwide, APP delivers quality products to more than 150 countries through world-class manufacturing and a robust international sales network.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Paperboard Commodity and Food Packaging Board commercial activities across Italy.This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial leader with strong industry knowledge, a proactive sales approach, and a solid network within the printing, converting, and packaging merchant sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the sales strategy for Paperboard FBB and food packaging grades within ItalyDrive revenue growth across key accounts and strategic customersBuild and maintain strong relationships with carton converters, merchants/distributors and brand ownersIdentify and pursue new business opportunities in adjacent segments (e.g., FMCG, food service packaging)Lead pricing, volume,



and service-level negotiationsMonitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor developmentsCollaborate with regional and global APP teams to ensure best-in-class customer supportProvide accurate sales forecasts and performance reporting to senior leadershipMinimum 4-6 years of sales experience in paperboard, folding carton, packaging board, or other adjacent industriesPreference for an established network of customers in Italy, especially within converting, and food packagingStrong understanding of EU food-contact packaging regulationsProven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targetsExcellent communication, negotiation, and account management skillsSelf-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to travel regularly across ItalyFluency in Italian and EnglishBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, Engineering, or a related field preferredJoin a global l
