Purpose of the position: As Off Installation Analyses Engineer Junior you will be part of the TLSEATRUN3 Department, Fano Offshore Engineering Hub, in the business line Asset Based Services (no Drilling). You will support the team by performing special analysis for the offshore pipeline design .
In particular, static and dynamic FE analyses using ABAQUS FE solver will be executed to assess and guarantee the structural integrity of the pipeline under functional (process loads), environmental and accidental conditions.
The pipeline design will follow the methodology required by internation standards, Company specifications and internal procedures. The resource will support the Lead of this discipline during all main stages of projects execution starting from the objectives definition, analysis, solutions definition and write-up/presentation of outcomes.
How can you support us?
- Supporting the Lead during executive projects, bids or FEED respecting time, costs and objectives.
- Performing advanced FEM analysis based on ABAQUS solver for unconventional and special tasks.
- Contributing to the development of new methods and procedures for the execution of novel and special analyses.
- Contributing to the development of internal tools based on main programming languages such as Matlab or Python.
