The Group Data Artificial Intelligence and Automation Solutions function is in charge of driving the execution of key Artificial Intelligence projects at Group level, related both to AI-driven automation and AI recommendations/predictions to support Generali growth. The function is also responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving a library of central shared analytics / automation services, leveraging cutting-edge technologies, algorithms, and methodologies, available for the BUs through a central platform.
Within this organization, the AI and Generative AI Development Unit is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI and Generative AI solutions. As an AI Engineer, you will take part in international projects and initiatives in collaboration with our 50+ Business Units, with ownership across the full development lifecycle of AI initiatives—from design to implementation.




The role is strongly focused on Generative AI and AI Agents, including the design and implementation of agent-based architectures leveraging LLMs and orchestration frameworks (e.g., You will contribute to building scalable, reliable, and production-ready AI systems, integrating LLMs, retrieval systems, APIs, and multi-agent workflows.
You will actively experiment with innovative technologies in Generative AI, contributing to the evolution of internal capabilities and reusable components.
Support project set-up, analysis of as-is processes, business case definition, and design of end-to-end AI/GenAI solutions
* Develop and implement Generative AI solutions, including multi-modal LLM-based applications and use cases
* Design and implement AI agents and multi-agent systems, leveraging orchestration frameworks (e.g., Build end-to-end AI pipelines (data preparation, model integration, prompt design, evaluation, monitoring)
