Acronis operates a complex, large-scale data platform powering hundreds of services worldwide. Our technology stack includes highly available clustered relational (PostgreSQL, MariaDB), NoSQL (Cassandra), time-series, and vector databases, operating under extremely high load.
In this role, you will play a key part in evolving database architecture and operational processes to ensure scalable, automated, and reliable data processing across company services and global datacenters. You will also contribute to data quality initiatives and the adoption of AI-driven and analytics-oriented data solutions.
Design and evolve database architecture across Acronis cloud products, ensuring scalability, reliability, security,

and performance
Define and promote best practices for relational, NoSQL, time-series, and vector databases across different workloads
Design and review data migration approaches, ensuring data integrity, security, and minimal service impact
Contribute to database automation initiatives in collaboration with Database DevOps and Infrastructure teams
Participate in data quality initiatives across multiple systems, improving consistency and correctness of data
Work closely with engineering teams on database design decisions, performance optimization, and complex data issues
Support adoption of AI-driven and analytics-oriented data solutions
5+ years of experience working with production databases in complex environments
