Application Engineer Motion Control and industrial automation Specialista Senior / Project Manager In this role you enable customers across Italy to design, validate and commission advanced Motion Control applications, spanning from digital simulations to on-site commissioning. You will develop and test Motion Control software, support commissioning and troubleshooting, and collaborate with customers, partners, and sales to deliver high-performing automation solutions. You'll work across diverse industries and contribute to digitalization initiatives while expanding Siemens' motion control capabilities. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with meaningful impact on customer outcomes and technology adoption. Parenthood support psychological support services continuous learning opportunities Design, development, testing, and validation of Motion Control solutions from customer requirements Parameterization, digital simulation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer sites Deliver technical presentations, workshops,
and training to customers and partners Translate customer needs into Motion Control architectures, specifications, and optimized parameter sets Collaborate with sales to identify technical solutions and support proposals Provide after-sales technical support and share lessons learned for future improvements Expand expertise across Motion Control areas such as Metal Forming, Packaging, Handling, and Converting Support adoption of advanced automation concepts and digitalization technologies including software design and development Master's Degree in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field Experience with Motion Control technologies, PLC programming, and industrial automation systems Knowledge of Structured Text (ST) and C; C# is a plus Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and occasionally abroad Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken) #J-18808-Ljbffr
