We are looking for a Building Operations Engineer for our Integrated Facility Management business line on our Amazon account dedicated team.
Role Purpose
Reporting to the Facilities Manager and working as part of the overall Facilities Team, the Building Operations Engineer will manage a range of hard services and provide the necessary support to ensure the efficient and effective running of 2 sites.
What this job involves
Creation and adherence of planned maintenance regime for Client assets
Follow up on maintenance planned by Landlord
Attendance to unplanned maintenance activity
Response and activity relating to Trouble Ticket (remedy) requests – responding within agreed SLAs
Management and tracking of Building Operations stock including but not limited to: bulbs, filters, power supplies
Management of local supplier base providing maintenance, project activity and reactive repairs
Tracking of utility usage (electric, water, gas) and creation of innovative ideas to reduce environmental impact
Liaison with relevant regulatory bodies including Safety groups – putting in place action plans when appropriate
Oversee Building Operating and Maintenance manuals – managing updates when necessary
Site Inspections (with other members of Facility Team) including but not limited to: support of daily cleaning inspection, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, landscaping (when present)
Moves/Adds/Changes: desk assignments, furniture stock ordering and management, occupancy tracking
Small Project Management / Creation of Budget & Activity Plan for Site Improvements: refurbishments, renovations, expansions
Liaison with: Deskside/IT, Global Telecom, Global Security (for systems & devices), Global A/V, Security Guards Coordination (when present on site), other Building Operations Engineers on client sites
Manage daily health & safety issues – maintaining regular scheduled meetings and records of the fire and safety teams/fire drills/safety equipment/training
Raise purchase orders
Deputize / provide cover for Assistant Facilities Manager / Facilities Manager when appropriate
All other tasks and duties as assigned

Education: Diploma/degree level in technical discipline (architect or engineer)
Knowledge of statutory and regulatory maintenance requirements for Client assets as well as Contract Management

Scopo del ruolo
Riportando al Facilities Manager e lavorando come parte del team Facilities complessivo, la figura di Building Operations Engineer gestirà una gamma di servizi tecnici e fornirà il supporto necessario per garantire il funzionamento ottimizzato ed efficace di 2 siti.
Cosa prevede questo lavoro
Creazione e rispetto del regime di manutenzione programmata per gli asset del Cliente
Follow-up sulla manutenzione pianificata dal proprietario dell'immobile
Gestione delle attività di manutenzione non pianificate
Risposta e attività relative alle richieste di Trouble Ticket (remedy) – rispettando gli SLA concordati
Gestione e tracciamento dello stock per le operazioni dell'edificio, inclusi ma non limitati a: lampadine, filtri, alimentatori
Gestione della base di fornitori locali che forniscono manutenzione, attività di progetto e riparazioni reattive
Monitoraggio dell'utilizzo delle utenze (elettricità, acqua, gas) e creazione di idee innovative per ridurre l'impatto ambientale
Coordinamento con gli enti normativi pertinenti, inclusi i gruppi di sicurezza – implementando piani d'azione quando appropriato
Supervisione dei manuali operativi e di manutenzione dell'edificio – gestendo gli aggiornamenti quando necessario
Ispezioni del sito (con altri membri del team Facilities) incluse ma non limitate a: supporto all'ispezione quotidiana delle pulizie, riscaldamento, ventilazione, aria condizionata, paesaggistica (quando presente)
Trasferimenti/Aggiunte/Modifiche: assegnazione postazioni, ordinazione e gestione dello stock di arredamento, monitoraggio dell'occupazione
Gestione di piccoli progetti / Creazione di budget e piano di attività per miglioramenti del sito: ristrutturazioni, rinnovamenti, espansioni
Coordinamento con: Deskside/IT, Global Telecom, Global Security (per sistemi e dispositivi), Global A/V, coordinamento guardie di sicurezza (quando presenti in loco),
altri Building Operations Engineer nei siti cliente
Gestione quotidiana delle questioni di salute e sicurezza – mantenimento di riunioni programmate regolari e registri dei team antincendio e di sicurezza/esercitazioni antincendio/attrezzature di sicurezza/formazione
Emissione ordini di acquisto
Sostituzione / copertura per Assistant Facilities Manager / Facilities Manager quando appropriato

Ti riconosci in questo profilo? Per candidarti devi avere:
Formazione: Diploma/laurea in discipline tecniche (architettura o ingegneria)
Conoscenza dei requisiti normativi e legali di manutenzione per gli asset del Cliente, nonché della gestione contrattuale
Capacità di problem solving
Forti capacità decisionali
Eccellenti capacità di comunicazione scritta/verbale

Estimated compensation for this position:
34.000 – 42.500 EUR per year
Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including, but not limited to, skills and competencies assessed on the basis of objective criteria.
