Experteer Overview In this role you drive global category strategies for key power electronics components, shaping sourcing across ABB's product lines. You collaborate with SQE and R&D; to align component selection with product concepts and mass production. You will lead RFQ/RFPs, negotiate with tier-1 suppliers, and manage LTAs and frame contracts while mitigating supply risk. The position blends technical know-how with strategic supplier management in a multi-site, global context. You help deliver ongoing cost savings and ensure ESG and compliance alongside business partners. Retribuzione / Benefits * Define and execute global category sourcing strategies for IGBTs, capacitors, SCRs, thyristors, displays, and fuses * Lead global RFQ/RFP processes and perform TCO analysis and commercial negotiations with semiconductor suppliers * Develop and maintain LTAs and global frame contracts with key suppliers * Manage supplier qualification and onboarding with SQE and R&D; * Analyze spend, supplier concentration, and market trends; implement dual/multi-source strategies * Monitor market dynamics and obsolescence; implement last-time-buy strategies * Drive year-over-year cost savings via volume consolidation, design-to-cost,



and VA/VE * Collaborate with Engineering and NPI teams to influence component choices across product lifecycle * Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle from drafting to compliance monitoring * Report category performance (cost savings, OTD, quality, risk) to senior management * Support global sites in executing local procurement aligned with global strategy * Ensure compliance with ABB policies, trade controls, and ESG standards Responsabilità * 5-12 years in strategic procurement or category management for power electronics or semiconductor components * Deep technical understanding of IGBTs, thyristors, SCRs, capacitors, fuses, and display technologies * Proven track record in global supplier negotiations, LTAs, and category strategy execution * Familiarity with power electronics products (drives, converters, UPS, traction, renewables) * Experience with SAP Ariba, Jaggaer, or similar sourcing platforms; advanced Excel and Power BI * International travel up to *****% * English fluent; Italian/German/Spanish an advantage * Professional certifications such as CPSM or CIPS are a plus Requisiti fondamentali #J-*****-Ljbffr
