ppThe Financial Controller will be the primary support for Finance Manager for overseeing all financial related internal reporting, with a strong focus on how data are generated, therefore constantly monitoring the accounting processes for all the group entities.
This role requires a meticulous individual with strong analytical and reporting skills along with a deep understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial records, compliance with tax regulations, and support the financial decision-making process.
This is a hybrid position, requiring presence at the office located in Bassano del Grappa, Italy.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the Finance Manager in overseeing and constantly monitoring the accounting process in the parent company and all subsidiaries.
/li liOversee and manage financial consolidation processes for the group, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP, etc.).
/li liPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
/li liEnsure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
/li liMonitor and improve financial processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.
/li liSupport the Finance Manager in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
/li liEnsure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
/li liConduct variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations for financial performance improvement.
/li liLiaise with external auditors, tax authorities,



and other financial stakeholders.
/li liProvide guidance and support to accounting teams across different subsidiaries.
/li liIdentify opportunities for process automation and system improvements.
/li liAssist in financial due diligence and integration of new acquisitions.
/li liCollaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data.
/li liProvide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
/li liExcellent proficiency in excel and reporting tools.
/li liFamiliarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
/li liExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Italian and English.
/li liStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
/li liAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
/li liStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.

/li liAbility and willingness to travel – 30% of the time.
