Laboratory Failure Analysis Technician (Electronics & Electrical)
Based in Turin, you will analyze electronic units and wiring harnesses returned under warranty to find failure root causes. This junior-friendly role includes full training on all laboratory tools and methods.
Key responsibilities:
- Inspect: Register parts and perform visual inspections for defects like corrosion, fractures, or overheating.
- Test: Run basic functional tests using power supplies, multimeters, and digital microscopes.
- Report: Document findings and photos in clear Word, PowerPoint,
and Excel reports.
- Collaborate: Share results with engineers and update the laboratory failure database.
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Physical Measurements, Digital Systems or similar.
- Technical skills: Basic knowledge of electricity/ electronics and high comfort with Microsoft Office.
- Soft skills: Technical curiosity, attention to details, accountability, and strong teamwork skills.
- Plusses: Experience with automotive parts (harnesses, connectors) or optical instruments.
Location: Turin, Italy.
Environment: High-tech laboratory using advanced microscopes and functional test benches.
