The IT Disaster Recovery Specialist strengthens ICT resilience for Generali Group through designing, validating, and maintaining disaster recovery strategies across multi-layer tech stacks.
You will work within a cross-country, technically focused team to ensure business continuity aligned with DORA requirements.
You'll lead DR planning, testing, and documentation for critical scenarios and support related projects.
This role offers impact in shaping resilience across data centers and cloud environments, contributing to a secure, reliable IT backbone.
Responsibilities
Develop and update ICT Disaster Recovery Plans for GOSP and customers
Coordinate DR test sessions across multiple data centers
Manage and update DR procedures, DR mapping, and team roles




Lead creation and testing of ICT Response and Recovery Plans for nine DORA-defined scenarios
Support DR-related projects including CRS applications testing and infrastructure switchover/switchback operations
Qualifications
Bachelor in Information Technology (or related field)
Minimum 2 years in Disaster Recovery projects
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, backups, NAS, Linux/AIX, databases, cloud, security)
Experience coordinating DR tests and DR documentation
Familiarity with DORA regulation and its impact on DR planning and testing
Fluent in English
