Within the Group Accounting, Financial Reporting and Market Value Balance Sheet area, the Group Investment Valuation Framework & Reporting unit is looking for a candidate to support the team in the following key activities:
- Supporting in the definition of requirements in terms of pricing and fair value hierarchy (FVH) for Group investments in accordance with the Group valuation procedures and accounting policies, including the Valuation of Asset and Liability other than Technical Provision Group Policy and related guidelines
- Executing direct controls on investment portfolio valuation (including repricing activities for complex/illiquid assets) and define/monitor related follow up
- Continuous improvement of repricing activities related to complex/illiquid assets in coordination with investment functions both in terms of methodologies and process automation
- Defining, with investment operations, pricing processes and related documentation requirements improvement
- Supporting sensitivity analysis calculation and reporting to evaluate the impact of key financial and operational assumptions on investment performance and strategic outcomes
- Supporting, as required, other internal/external disclosure/projects on investments
- Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (or equivalent via proven work experience)
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of 2 years of exposure to the valuation and/or validation of complex and illiquid assets
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and financial instruments
- Professional knowledge of IFRS 13 and its practical application into day-to-day valuation activities (additional frameworks a plus)
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (knowledge of pricing tools a plus)
- Proven experience in implementing process enhancement via automatization of tasks/activities (including use of AI)
- Proficiency in English
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning
- Ability to challenge the status quo constructively and propose innovative solutions
What we offer
We offer employment at the V level with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement.
Gross annual salary ranging between 39K€ and 49K€. The final offer will be aligned with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills relevant to the role, and may include an individual variable component.
