p DETAILS – Hospitality, Sports Leisure is the platform responsible for managing Arrow Global's Hospitality, Sports Leisure assets in Portugal.
It currently oversees several hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira and Madeira, as well as the largest golf portfolio in Portugal, including the golf courses in Vilamoura, PGA Aroeira Lisboa, Palmares and Vale Pisão.
Internationally, DETAILS also manages two golf courses in Sicily, integrated within the Costa Ragusa destination.
In addition, it is responsible for the management of the Vilamoura Equestrian Centre.
p The Greenkeeper Assistant will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and controlling golf course maintenance activities, ensuring efficiency and quality in accordance with required playing conditions and established standards.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, those described below, with strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
/pp Key Responsibilities: /pulli Plan, organize, and allocate daily work tasks and prepare staff schedules.
/lili Monitor task execution to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met.
/lili Operate specialized golf course machinery and equipment.
/lili Provide technical and operational training and guidance to the maintenance team.
/lili Oversee the correct use of machinery, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance, conservation, and safety.




/lili Collaborate with the Head Greenkeeper on strategic priorities and innovations.
/lili Report and address breakdowns, repairs, equipment replacement needs, or improvements.
/lili Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
/lili Prepare activity logs and reports.
/lili Perform operational tasks when necessary.
/li /ulp Key Qualifications: /pulli Proven experience in golf course or sports field maintenance.
/lili Experience in supervisory or leadership roles within operational teams.
/lili Knowledge and practice in operating and maintaining specialized golf course machinery.
/lili Techniques for preparing and maintaining greens, tees, fairways, and bunkers.
/lili Knowledge of irrigation systems and application of plant protection treatments.
/lili Ability to organize logistics, tasks, and resource management.
/lili Leadership and team motivation skills.
/lili Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
/lili Organizational discipline and attention to detail.
/lili Proactive problem-solving abilities.
/lili Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors.
/lili Flexibility for weekend and holiday shifts.
/lili Italian fluency is a requirment /lili Valid driver's license.
