What you'll do
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
Prepare and present detailed financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
Collaborate with department heads to develop financial plans that align with operational goals and drive profitability.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions as necessary.
Implement and maintain robust financial controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
Support the finance team in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes that enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of investment analyses and business cases for new projects or initiatives.
Provide training and support to non-financial staff on financial matters to foster a culture of financial awareness across the organization.
Participate in cross-functional projects that require financial expertise, contributing to the overall success of the company.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial management to continuously improve the business controlling function.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial controlling or analysis role, preferably within a fast-paced or tech-driven environment.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Proficient in financial software and tools,
with advanced knowledge of Excel; experience with ERP systems is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian or other languages is a plus.
Nice to have
Experience in the tech or digital services sector, with a solid understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space.
Familiarity with international financial regulations and standards, particularly in a multi-country context.
Previous experience in project management or leading cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of data visualization tools to enhance reporting and presentations.
