What you'll do
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with Data4's overall business objectives, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities, pricing, and reliability.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions that agevolazioni the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless integration of procurement processes.
Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
Manage the procurement budget, tracking expenditures and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Lead supplier relationship management initiatives, fostering strong partnerships to drive innovation and continuous improvement.




Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies that could impact procurement strategies and supplier selection.
Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
Train and mentor junior procurement staff, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
Participate in strategic sourcing initiatives, contributing to the development of long-term procurement plans that support business growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or category management, preferably within the technology or data center industry.
Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools,



as well as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Nice to have
Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is highly desirable.
Experience with e-procurement systems and digital transformation initiatives in procurement.
Knowledge of sustainability practices and ethical sourcing in procurement.
Multilingual abilities, particularly in Italian and English, are advantageous.
Previous experience in a leadership role within procurement is a plus.
