p Freelance AI Engineer (Italian Speaking) | Fully Remote | 6-Month Contract + Extension p Location: Fully Remote (Italy) /pp Contract: Freelance /pp Duration: 6 months initial contract with strong possibility of extension /pp Daily Rate: Negotiable /pp Key Responsibilities: /pulli Design, develop and deploy end-to-end AI solutions for enterprise clients.
/lili Build intelligent applications using Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI technologies.
/lili Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python.
/lili Design and implement microservices-based architectures for AI applications.
/lili Integrate AI models with enterprise systems and cloud environments.
/lili Collaborate with software engineers, architects and business stakeholders to deliver innovative AI solutions.
/lili Optimise, test and continuously improve AI applications for performance and scalability.
/lili Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies and contribute new ideas to the wider engineering team.
/li /ulp Essential Skills Experience: /pulli2+ years' commercial experience as an AI Engineer.
/lili Strong commercial experience developing AI solutions using Python.
/lili Hands-on experience with Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI (GenAI).
/lili Experience designing and delivering end-to-end AI applications.




/lili Strong understanding of AI architecture, APIs and system integrations.
/lili Experience designing and developing microservices-based applications.
/lili Experience working with at least one major cloud platform, such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
/lili Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes is highly desirable.
/lili Strong software engineering fundamentals, ideally supported by a Computer Science or Software Engineering background.
/lili Fluent Italian and English.
/li /ulp Nice to Have: /pulli Experience as a Full Stack AI Engineer, working across the complete AI solution lifecycle.
/lili Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents and multi-agent systems.
/lili Cloud certifications in Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Databricks.
/lili Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
/lili Experience working within Agile development teams.
/lili Curious, proactive and eager to learn new technologies and AI frameworks.
