Experteer Overview
As a Systems Engineer at Applied Materials, you will design, integrate, and optimize complex systems spanning electrical, mechanical, software, and physics domains to advance semiconductor and display manufacturing.
You will work with cross?functional, global teams to specify architectures, test thoroughly, and ensure reliable, safe integrations.
You will identify risks, drive quality, and deliver scalable solutions that meet customer requirements.
This role offers hands?on engineering with a strong impact on production systems and a chance to shape next?generation automation.
Retribuzione / Benefits
Support multidisciplinary system engineering projects (electrical, mechanical, software, algorithms)
Contribute to system engineering specifications and draft field?specific sections
Perform and coordinate system tests, provide feedback to product teams
Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues (serviceability and manufacturability)
Assist system integration during assembly and final testing of new designs
Ensure hardware/software meets market requirements for safety, reliability, usability,



maintainability
Define external equipment interfaces and document system architecture
Provide on?site technical support for industrial automation systems
Work hands?on with tools and hardware for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with global teams to ensure smooth project execution
Analyze data and apply critical thinking to solve technical challenges
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and customer satisfaction
Responsabilità
Willingness to travel frequently
Excellent command of English
Basic knowledge of PLC programming languages (preferred: TwinCAT – Beckhoff)
Familiarity with industrial automation concepts and related technologies
Hands?on attitude and ability to work with tools and equipment
