As Assistant Computational Designer at Arup in Milan, you join a multidisciplinary digital team shaping built environments through computational design, software development, and data insights.
You collaborate with engineers, data scientists and developers to automate workflows and deliver innovative solutions.
You'll work on web applications, data dashboards and design automation across Property, Cities, Transport and Energy.
This is a hands-on, growth-focused role in a purpose-driven, collaborative firm with cross-disciplinary exposure.

Join and collaborate with a team of computational designers, engineers, data scientists and developers
Automate design and engineering workflows,
develop scripts and tools to solve complex problems
Contribute to the development of web applications (front-end, back-end, APIs, etc.)
Develop data visualisation dashboards and tools
Identify and propose software solutions or architectures to meet customer needs
Coordinate work with Digital teams in Europe and other Arup disciplines
Degree in an AEC-related field (Engineering, Architecture, etc.)
Up to 2 years of relevant experience or final-year student/recent graduate
Experience with Rhino + Grasshopper, Revit, Rhino Inside, Dynamo, Revit API
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Collaborative, flexible, multidisciplinary mindset with good communication
