Senior Agentic Enablement Engineer TrueLayer is on a mission to create a specialized Agentic Engineering Enablement team aimed at incorporating AI agents into our primary technical processes. In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Chief Technology Officer to design and implement robust production infrastructure that ensures the seamless operation of agents throughout our engineering teams.

Engagement: Hybrid (3 days remote, 2 days in office)
Salary: €85,000 to €110,000 per year, plus equity

What you'll do Develop and sustain the agent harness, which includes creating system prompt libraries, defining skills, and maintaining AGENTS.md documentation.
Construct MCP servers that enable agents to securely and instantaneously access internal databases, APIs, and deployment states.
Create and manage internal tool libraries that outline the processes for testing, reviewing, and operating software effectively.
Design and implement golden paths and orchestration patterns to ensure that agent capabilities are both measurable and dependable.
Enhance CI/CD pipelines to accommodate agent-scale workloads by utilizing caching, parallelization, and remote execution techniques.
Develop evaluation harnesses to assess agent performance, incorporating regression suites and metrics tailored to specific tasks.
Set up oversight policies, guardrails, and permission boundaries to guarantee secure operations for agents, adhering to the principle of least privilege.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on agent capabilities and performance metrics.
Mentor junior engineers in best practices for agent integration and infrastructure development.
Conduct regular reviews of agent performance and infrastructure efficiency, making recommendations for improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in AI and agent technology to drive innovation within the team.
Requirements A minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on platform engineering, infrastructure, or enhancing developer experience.
Demonstrated experience in building and managing autonomous agent systems, including the development of tool-use schemas and orchestration pipelines.
Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
A disciplined approach to prompt and context engineering, treating it as a version-controlled engineering practice.
Excellent written communication skills, essential for documenting architectural choices and complex workflows effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges in agent operations.
Nice to have Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or CrewAI.
Experience in evaluating developer experience and measuring engineering velocity.
Knowledge of evaluation frameworks like LangSmith or Braintrust.
Understanding of large language model (LLM) cost modeling, including token budget design and retrieval strategies.
Background in security or compliance within a regulated sector, ideally in fintech.
Experience in scaling CI/CD pipelines to handle high loads effectively.
