Senior Planner – Pharmaceutical Construction

Overview

We are supporting a major pharmaceutical client on a large-scale capital investment project in Milan and are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to join the project delivery team.

Working on-site, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and controlling the integrated project schedule across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain the integrated Primavera P6 project schedule.
- Prepare baseline programmes and manage regular schedule updates.
- Monitor project progress and identify critical path activities and potential delays.
- Produce weekly and monthly planning reports, S-curves and look-ahead programmes.
- Coordinate planning activities across engineering,



procurement, construction and commissioning teams.
- Analyse schedule impacts, variations and recovery plans.
- Support risk management and change control processes.
- Interface with project managers, contractors and client stakeholders to ensure programme alignment.
- Provide schedule analysis and recommendations to support project delivery.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Senior Planner on large capital construction projects.
- Demonstrable pharmaceutical project experience is essential.
- Strong Primavera P6 knowledge.
- Experience managing complex EPC/EPCM project schedules.
- Strong understanding of engineering, construction and commissioning activities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent Italian required
