Site Team Leader/ Capoturno (Milano) at Deliveroo About the role In this pivotal position, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our dark store, ensuring that customer satisfaction is prioritized while maintaining the efficiency of site operations. As a Site Team Leader, you will be responsible for guiding your team to ensure that our Hop locations run smoothly and effectively, contributing to the overall success of Deliveroo.
Key facts Location: Milan - Via Gaudenzio Ferrari (Hop)
Engagement: Full-time, Fixed Term
Compensation: €21,600 - €27,000 gross annually, classified as Livello 5 under the CCNL Commercio e Terziario National Collective Agreement. This position does not include equity or RSU grants.

What you'll do Supervise the timely collection of orders to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the store, ensuring all protocols are followed.
Collaborate with riders to facilitate prompt and accurate deliveries to customers.
Manage the shipping area effectively, assisting with the packaging of customer orders as needed.
Ensure all deliveries are properly scanned and any discrepancies are documented for resolution.
Unload incoming deliveries according to established procedures, ensuring proper product placement and adherence to date rotation guidelines.
Conduct regular inventory checks to confirm accuracy and ensure all areas are accounted for.
Work closely with the Assistant Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Manager to enhance site efficiency and productivity.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, promptly addressing any hazards or safety concerns.
Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work culture.
Implement best practices for operational processes and continuously seek improvements.
Assist in resolving any operational challenges that arise during shifts, ensuring minimal disruption to service.

Requirements Proficiency in Italian is essential for effective communication within the team and with customers.
Previous experience in a similar operational role is highly desirable, providing a solid foundation for success in this position.
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by the business.
Commitment to working 40-hour shifts each week, demonstrating reliability and dedication.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet during busy periods.
Nice to have Basic knowledge of the English language can be beneficial for communication with diverse teams.
Experience in a logistics or warehousing environment is a plus, enhancing your understanding of operational workflows.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and processes can provide an advantage in this role.
Skills & tools Proficient in inventory management techniques to ensure optimal stock levels and accuracy.
Strong team supervision skills, enabling you to lead and motivate your team effectively.
