Project Manager at InterSystems. About the role We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Implementation team, focusing on software deployment within the healthcare IT sector. This position is based in Milan and involves a hybrid work model, which may require travel to client locations for up to five days a week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing healthcare IT projects, ensuring that implementations are completed on time and within budget while meeting client expectations.

What you'll do Oversee the planning and execution of TrakCare implementation projects, ensuring compliance with established timelines and budgetary constraints.
Assume full responsibility for the project lifecycle, managing daily operations and securing necessary resources to facilitate effective team collaboration.
Define project goals and maintain quality control throughout the project lifecycle, adhering to InterSystems' customer engagement methodologies.
Monitor obligations of clients and third-party vendors, addressing any escalations related to project modifications.
Be prepared for assignments that necessitate regular travel to customer sites, which may account for 70-80% of your time.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns that arise.
Ensure that all project documentation is maintained accurately and is accessible to relevant parties.
Requirements A minimum of 4 years of experience managing implementation projects for integrated healthcare solutions in a client-facing capacity,
preferably within public or private healthcare settings.
Proven track record of overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to execution and closure.
Direct experience in the healthcare sector, specifically with Hospital Information Systems (HIS).
Strong skills in resource management, including the ability to monitor project timelines and budgets effectively.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience guiding diverse and multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Experience in managing contracts, particularly those involving third-party vendors.
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Biomedical Engineering or Management Engineering.
Nice to have Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies.
Possession of a PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
Previous experience working with healthcare IT solutions or similar technologies.
Skills & tools Proficient in project management software and tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
Practical notes The estimated base salary for this position ranges from €50,000 to €64,000 EUR, depending on various factors such as experience, education, and performance.
Additional compensation may include a discretionary annual variable incentive.
