Experteer Overview
As a Plastic Technologist Engineer at Technogym, you will define standards for materials, processes and systems, and design plastic parts to meet performance, safety and sustainability goals.
You will work with R&D;, Quality and Production to ensure feasibility and alignment with internal standards, while driving continuous improvement.
You will manage documentation, training and evaluate new technologies to keep our plastic capabilities cutting-edge.
This role combines engineering rigor with cross-functional collaboration to deliver cost-efficient, high-quality solutions that support our fitness and health innovation mission.

Define and maintain technical standards for materials, processes, and systems
Manage technical documentation and deliver internal training programs
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend updates to existing standards
Design and develop plastic parts and assemblies
Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding,



extrusion, thermoforming)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D;, Quality, Production) to ensure product feasibility, compliance, and alignment with internal standards
Conduct testing and validation of plastic components to meet performance and safety requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for processes and material performance
Responsabilità
Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)
Proven experience in plastic technology and manufacturing processes
Good knowledge of CAD software and simulation tools
Familiarity with international standards and regulations for plastic components
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Experience with sustainable materials and recycling technologies
Knowledge of mold design and tooling
Project management capabilitiesLeadership
