Do you enjoy contributing to the development of a technical product and its documentation? This internship is designed as a first step into the R&D; department of a technology-driven, international company, even without previous experience. Music & Lights designs, manufactures and distributes professional lighting solutions for the Film & TV, Live Events, Theatre and Architectural markets, used in more than 70 countries. You will join the R&D; department in a young environment, with a structured training path and constant guidance from experienced colleagues.

About the role
You will complete an internship at our HQ in Minturno (LT), within the R&D; department, following a structured 6-month training path (3 + 3) alongside the Technical Director and the Product Managers. You will support the team across product-related activities as a whole: development, technical documentation and fixture drawings, working with the product specialists, technical support and marketing. It is an entry path designed to build concrete skills in product development and technical documentation.
Key responsibilities
Support the drafting of product technical documentation, user manuals, technical libraries and compliance documentation - including the drawings they contain.
Contribute to producing mechanical drawings, dimensioned drawings and exploded views of fixture parts and assemblies.
Take part in the development of lighting products, working alongside the team on product design and development activities.
Support the analysis and testing of parts and prototypes,



liaising with external development teams and preparing the related technical reports.
Help follow up on the implementation of feedback with the supply chain, monitoring its progress.
Work with the product specialists, technical support and marketing to contribute to product integration and onboarding.
Requirements
Strong motivation to learn and interest in product development, technical documentation and product drawings.
Basic knowledge of parametric software (SolidWorks or Creo) and 2D drafting (AutoCAD), including at a theoretical or academic level.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, dimensioned drawings and exploded views, and the aptitude to produce them.
Knowledge of technical English (B1 level), useful for documentation and for liaising with suppliers and international teams.
Basic IT skills: Microsoft Office and email, with confidence in the digital environment.
No previous experience in the role is required: any prior experience, even brief, including academic projects, is welcome.
Preferred skills
Basic understanding of control systems for moving lights (e.g. grandMA).
Knowledge of layout software (Adobe InDesign) and of document formatting.
Familiarity with project management tools.




Interest in and curiosity about AI tools supporting documentation and product development.
Technical background in mechanics, electronics, industrial design or related fields (preferred).

Ability to work in a team across different functions.
Technical curiosity and the drive to grow.
Good organisation and priority management.
Contract and compensation
Contract: 6-month internship, structured as a 3 + 3 month training path.
Monthly allowance: €800 per month for the first 3 months, €1,000 per month for the following 3 months.
Working arrangement: tempo pieno, at our HQ in Minturno (LT), with a dedicated company tutor.
Benefits: company canteen and company gym.
The internship is designed to lead to employment: on achieving the training objectives, you will be hired under an apprendistato professionalizzante (professional apprenticeship) contract, starting the growth path towards the full role of Product Engineer Jr.
