Junior Edge Software Developer - CoE IoT As Edge Software Developer at BIP's IoT Centre of Excellence, you will build robust Go-based software for edge environments and multiple communication protocols. You will design event-driven microservices with performance and reliability in mind, collaborating across functions to own end-to-end outcomes. You'll contribute to technology scouting and mentor colleagues in a fast-evolving tech setting. This role offers impact in IoT and industrial protocols, with a strong focus on shaping scalable edge solutions.

Develop Go-based software and support multiple protocols (MQTT, NATS, Kafka, REST, gRPC, IEC ***********, OPC-UA, Modbus, IEC *****, LoraWAN)
Implement event-driven microservices for edge computing with emphasis on performance and reliability
Collaborate in an interfunctional team with end-to-end responsibility
Contribute to technology scouting and stay current with tech trends
Mentor colleagues and share knowledge with the team
Proven Golang experience with deep syntax, standard library, and high-performance Go coding
Experience in microservices design and Docker/Kubernetes
Ability to write concurrent programs and manage threading, synchronization, and non-blocking I/O
Experience with unit/integration testing and performance profiling/debugging tools
Proficiency with version control and CI/CD workflows; GitLab knowledge a plus
Experience with shell scripting
Excellent Linux knowledge
Experience in Agile/Scrum, Kanban, or TDD environments
Knowledge of industrial protocols: IEC ***************, IEC ***** MMS/GOOSE/SV, ModBUS RTU/TCP, OPC UA/DA
