General Manager at Happyhiller
About the role Happyhiller is in search of a dynamic leader to take charge of our operations at the Florence, Alabama location.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for steering the team towards achieving financial success, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering the professional growth of staff members.
Your leadership will be crucial in upholding our high standards across 17 locations, supported by 34 years of experience in the industry.
Location: Florence, AL Engagement: Full-Time
What you'll do
Oversee the daily operations of the branch, ensuring efficient management of inventory, personnel, and customer service interactions.
Analyze and manage profit and loss statements to guarantee that revenue targets are consistently met or surpassed.
Provide mentorship and guidance to staff, promoting a positive and collaborative workplace environment.
Implement strategic growth initiatives that align with the long-term goals of the company.
Supervise employee relations, ensuring compliance with local labor regulations and fostering a respectful workplace.
Develop and maintain operational procedures that enhance efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service delivery.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Engage with customers to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with our services.
Prepare and present reports on operational performance to senior management.
Lead training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge in service operations.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to keep the company competitive.
Requirements
A minimum of 10 years of experience in residential service operations is highly desirable.




A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience is required.
At least one year of experience in an operations supervisory role or three years in a team leadership position is necessary.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets is essential.
Strong skills in job costing, financial forecasting, and operational profit and loss analysis are required.
A valid driver's license is mandatory, along with approval from our insurance provider.
Nice to have
Certification from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is a plus.
Possession of professional trade licenses can enhance your application.
Experience in managing multiple locations or large teams is advantageous.
Skills & tools
Expertise in financial analysis and management of profit and loss statements.
Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on staff development and team building.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance and business law as it pertains to operations.
Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with staff and customers.
