General Description of the Role We are seeking a smart, experienced, and self-motivated attorney to serve as an in-house partner to Campari's commercial/sales, channel marketing, and brand marketing teams, providing day-to-day legal counsel across a broad portfolio of alcoholic beverages.
In addition to commercial support, the attorney will be the owner of a compliance portfolio spanning data privacy, antitrust, anti-corruption, and trade practices, ensuring the Company operates with integrity and manages risk proactively.
The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of legal rigor and commercial pragmatism, is comfortable advising senior stakeholders under deadline, and brings genuine enthusiasm for the distilled spirits industry.
Key Responsibilities and Activities Serve as the legal lead of Campari's compliance program in the US with a focus on the following pillars: Anti-Corruption comfortable presenting to senior leadership.
Business-positive orientation with ability to provide pragmatic and creative legal solutions within a common-sense context.
Robust time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently in a fast-changing, ambiguous, and demanding environment.
Essential Job Functions Spend extensive time reading, reviewing, and interpreting written materials from a variety of on-line, paper, and other reference sources.
Ability to discern key facts and issues from interviews and written materials.
Draft and negotiate contracts.
Write for internal and external communications in clear and plain English.
Attend and actively participate in meetings, both in person and virtually.
Prepare and present interactive trainings, both virtual, in-person, and hybrid.
Able to be regularly present at the office location at least three days/week.
Necessary business travel estimated at 5-10%.
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $163,*******,300.
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors and considerations.
In addition to base salary and a generous employee benefits package, employees are eligible to receive a discretionary premio.
