/ppAs part of the continued growth of bAbylsen Italy /b, specializing in Transportation (Automotive, Aerospace, Defence, Space and Railway), Heavy Industry (Metallurgy and Steel), Energy, and IT, we are looking for a bGangway System Engineer /b to join one of our clients operating in the bRailway /b sector.
/ph3Main activities: /h3ulliCoordinate and oversee the assigned onboard subsystems throughout the entire project lifecycle.
/liliAct as the technical interface between internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and project teams.
/liliSupervise functional testing activities during the validation, verification, and certification phases.
/liliManage the assigned onboard subsystems, ensuring effective collaboration with suppliers, customers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
/liliParticipate in design reviews to define subsystem architecture, configuration, and technical requirements.
/liliWork closely with the Requirements Manager to manage, allocate, and maintain traceability of project requirements related to the assigned subsystems.
/li /ulh3Technical skills: /h3ulliPrevious experience in a similar role.
/liliExperience in the railway industry, particularly in onboard subsystem integration, will be considered a strong advantage.
/liliAbility to manage the allocation of system requirements to subsystems and coordinate their implementation with internal stakeholders.
/liliAbility to define subsystem architecture, functionality, and operating concepts based on technical documentation and system requirements.
/liliGood knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering principles.
/liliAbility to review suppliers' design deliverables, identify technical issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions.
/liliFluent Italian.
/liliIntermediate level of English (minimum B1/B2).
