Vehicles are among the most complex software-intensive systems in existence, containing hundreds of embedded computers (e.g. ECUs, HPCs), hundreds of systems (e.g. recharging, infotainment, lighting), and hundreds of software features.
The Stellantis software group is currently developing a state-of-the-art software platform that will be deployed on all Stellantis vehicles going forward.
Define and document the overall platform architecture including software components, third-party and data flows between ECUs, gateways, and central compute units.
Define and drive the strategic vision and architectural roadmap for the Platform API domain within the automotive software platform, ensuring robust, scalable,
and future-ready in-vehicle networking.
Collaborate with cross-functional hardware, systems, and software teams to ensure alignment of architecture with hardware capabilities and vehicle requirements.
Define KPIs for communication platform quality and performance, ensuring ongoing monitoring and improvement.
Review architecture implementations and coding best practice.
Coordinate integration and testing activities.
Review integration and validation reports

ECU performance monitoring (CPU/RAM/ROM)
Bachelor in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or equivalent.
~5 - 8 years experience in design and development of embedded software architecture
~ Knowledge of signal and service-oriented interface design.
~ Strong knowledge of in-vehicle networking (CAN/LIN/Ethernet) including SOME-IP.
~ Experience with ECU internal communication (SPI, shared memory).
~ Experience defining interfaces (signals/services), requirements, and architectural documentation
~ Cross-functional leadership (systems/hardware/software) + design review ownership
Systems-level understanding of vehicle functional domains and their relationships and constraints.
ASPICE, V-model.
Experience with platform services like time synchronization, cloud connectivity, and end-to-end protection.
QNX/hypervisor
AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive)
CO10), and in particular with regard to the classification within the third professional area.
