Electrical Engineer – Power Systems (Remote, Italy)
Location: Remote (Italy)
Contract Length: 6 months
Rate: €250 per day
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join an international team supporting operational activities focused on power system security .
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical power system studies and planning projects while working remotely from Italy.
Key Responsibilities Perform static and dynamic power system studies.
Support operational power system planning and security analysis.
Develop and execute simulations using PSCAD and Siemens PSS®E (PSSE).
Contribute to HVDC system modelling and analysis.
Develop Python scripts to automate engineering workflows and data analysis.




Collaborate with multidisciplinary international teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience MSc in Electrical Engineering.
Experience with PSCAD and HVDC systems.
Strong background in power systems and operational power system planning.
Experience using Siemens PSS®E (PSSE) and, ideally, PSCAD.
Proven experience conducting static and dynamic power system studies.
Python programming and automation skills.
Italian language proficiency at B1 level or above (mandatory) .
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
