/p pTo strengthen our team in Milano or Bari or Brindisi we are currently looking for a: bBusiness Analyst /b /p h3About the Role /h3 pWe are looking for a Business Analyst to join a product team working on replacing a legacy model with a more structured and scalable system in the field of financial planning.
/p pThis role focuses on translating complex financial planning logic (cash flow, tax, investments, retirement) into clear, structured requirements for engineering teams.
/p h3What the candidate will do as a Business Analyst /h3 ul liWork with the Product Manager to translate financial planning concepts into developer ready requirements.
/li liAnalyze existing Excel based working model and extract underlying logic and rules.
/li liBreak down interconnected calculations (e.g. tax, cash flow, investment growth) into modular components and flows.
/li liDocument data relationships, calculation logic, and system behavior (e.g. data flows, entity relationships, calculation dependencies.
/li liSupport the definition of how changes in one part of the system impact others (e.g.
how cash flow impacts tax, or savings impacts net worth projections).
/li liWork closely with developers and QA to ensure requirements are clear and testable.
/li liValidate outputs to ensure alignment with expected financial outcomes.
/li liApply consistent patterns across features to support a scalable system.
/li liContribute to UX/UI design discussions with a focus on usability and logical flow.
/li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liExposure to financial planning concepts (cash flow, investments, tax, retirement).
/li liAbility to quickly build domain understanding.
/li liStrong analytical thinking; able to break down complex systems.
/li liAbility to translate numerical or financial logic into structured requirements.
/li liExperience with data models, workflows, or system design.
/li liExperienced in working within agile teams, managing user stories, priorities, and iterative feedback cycles.
/li liClear communicator across technical and non-technical teams.
/li liFamiliarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and diagramming tools.
/li /ul h3Nice to Have /h3 ul liExperience working with financial models or spreadsheet based systems and translating them into software requirements.
/li liExposure to rule-based systems, simulations, or optimization problems.
/li liFamiliarity with multi-jurisdiction financial concepts (e.g. UK, Canada, or EU markets).
