TheAccounting & Finance Coordinatorwill be responsible for ensuringaccurate, compliant, and timely financial and accounting managementof the Italian real estate portfolio, acting as a key point of contact between the local operations, headquarters, and external advisors.
The position requires asolid foundation in real estate accounting and related taxation.
Key Requirements
Strong knowledge of accounting principles(Italian GAAP / OIC and/or IFRS), with particular focus on real estate accounting
Good understanding of real estate taxation, including VAT, property taxes, and transaction-related taxes
Provenexperience in the real estate sectoris highly recommended
Good level ofspoken and written English(German is a plus)
Ability to work effectively in aninternational, multicultural environment
Main Responsibilities
Ensureaccurate, compliant, and timely financial managementof Italian real estate entities
Act asmain liaison between headquarters and external accountants, tax advisors, and auditors
Coordinatereporting, closing, and filing timelines, proactively following up with all stakeholders
Reviewperiodic financial statements and tax filings, identifying inconsistencies, risks, or improvement areas
Ensure properdocumentation, audit trails, and compliancewith Italian accounting and tax regulations
Monitorcash flow, rental income, and operating expenses




Overseerental invoicing, payments, and collections
Support the management ofreal estate structures, including SPVs and holding companies
Ensure correct accounting and tax treatment of:capex vs opex, VAT, property taxes(IMU, TARI, etc.)
Managesupplier invoices, expenses, and document archiving(physical and digital)
Support notary processes andproperty registry activities
Coordinate withlegal and tax advisorson corporate structures and cross-border transactions (e.g. dividends, intercompany loans)
Supportcash managementactivities
Provide operational and administrative support to the local team as needed
Ensure compliance withdata protection regulations
Requisiti:5+ years of experience in accounting / finance within the real estate sectorSolid grounding in real estate accounting fundamentals, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and financial statement reviewGood tax awareness, particularly regarding Italian real estate taxationProactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindsetStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyAbility to work independently and take ownership of responsibilitiesStrong communication skills and confidence interacting with external advisors and senior stakeholdersComfortable operating in a family office setting, where reliability, discretion, and long-term perspective are essential
