Position SummaryThe Southern Europe Sales Director will be responsible for developing and managing utility-scale and C&I; solar project customers across Italy and broader Southern Europe.The role focuses on driving solar module sales growth through EPCs, project developers, IPPs, and other key stakeholders, while managing full-cycle commercial execution, contract negotiations, and long-term customer relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive solar module sales growth across Italy and Southern Europe, focusing on utility-scale and C&I; solar projectsDevelop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales targetsBuild and maintain relationships with EPCs, developers, IPPs, investors, and strategic customersIdentify new business opportunities and expand long-term partnerships to grow regional market shareOwn full sales cycle: customer acquisition, qualification, technical/commercial proposals, pricing, negotiation, and contract executionWork closely with internal teams (technical, product, supply chain, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth project deliveryProvide tailored technical and commercial solutions aligned with project needsMonitor market trends, regulations, pipelines,
competitors, and customer demand to identify opportunitiesRepresent the company at industry events and customer meetings across the regionQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred5+ years of experience in solar PV or renewable energy project salesProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong understanding of PV industry, market dynamics, and utility-scale project businessExperience working with EPCs, developers, IPPs, or utility-scale stakeholdersStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsWillingness to travel up to 50% internationallyEnglish required; additional Southern European language (Italian/Spanish/Portuguese) preferredCore Success Profile (Implicit Requirements)Strong network in Southern Europe solar project ecosystemExperience managing long-cycle, multi-stakeholder dealsCommercial ownership mindset (revenue + margin responsibility)Experience in competitive PV module marketsStrong pipeline development capability within EPC/developer channels
