Senior Project Manager – Pharmaceutical Construction
Location: Parma, Italy
Job Type: Contract / Freelance
Duration: 24 Months
Overview
We are working with a leading engineering contractor delivering a major pharmaceutical construction project in Parma.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a complex pharmaceutical construction project from construction through to commissioning and handover. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-value capital project within a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Responsibilities
Lead the successful delivery of a major pharmaceutical construction project
Manage multidisciplinary engineering, construction and commissioning teams
Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure delivery against programme, budget and quality objectives
Monitor project progress and implement mitigation plans where required
Manage project risks, change control and issue resolution




Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reporting to senior stakeholders
Ensure compliance with HSE, GMP and project governance requirements
Support commissioning, qualification and project handover activities
Foster strong relationships with the client and project delivery teams
Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on large-scale pharmaceutical or life sciences construction projects
At least one completed pharmaceutical construction project
Strong experience delivering projects within EPC/EPCM environments
Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary construction teams
Excellent stakeholder, client and contractor management skills
Strong understanding of construction, commissioning and project delivery within regulated environments
