Business Development Manager – Central Europe (DACH & Italy) The FERRO Group is one of the largest producers and distributors of sanitary and installation fittings and a leading supplier of comprehensive systems in the segment of modern heat source management with over 30 years of experience in the industry on international markets. The Group is among the largest providers of solutions in the segment of managing economic water consumption and ecological heat sources in Central Europe. FERRO operates mainly in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary and Lithuania.

Business Development Manager - Central Europe (DACH & Italy)

Location: Central and Eastern Europe (frequent travel across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy)

Reporting line: Market Development Director

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving business growth and market expansion in DACH and Italy by identifying new opportunities, building distribution networks, and developing strategic partnerships.



The role focuses on markets where the company has no or limited direct presence, acting as a local business builder.

Key responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities and markets;

Build and manage distributor and partner relationships;

Achieve sales and margin targets in the assigned region;

Develop market entry and expansion strategies;

Monitor competition, pricing, and market trends;

Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, logistics) to support growth.

Requirements

5+ years experience in sales;

Knowledge about DACH and/or Italian markets (preferred);

Industry background in sanitary, heating, or construction products (advantage);

Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills;

Ability to work independently and drive results;

Languages: English required; German and/or Italian highly preferred.
