As a Reinsurance buyer at Generali Group’s Head Office, you design and secure optimal reinsurance protections to support the P&C; portfolio. You will align protections with corporate strategy, market conditions, and stakeholder needs, shaping risk transfer for the group. You engage directly with reinsurers or brokers, negotiate terms, and manage sidecar structures and ongoing commercial relationships. You collaborate with internal partners to define bespoke reinsurance solutions and provide leadership in reinsurance reporting to top management and regulators. This role offers impact through market-facing negotiations and strategic risk management at a global insurer.
Design efficient reinsurance protections aligned with strategy and market conditions Prepare information packages for purchasing reinsurance protections Negotiate terms and conditions with reinsurers or via brokers Negotiate with investors and manage post-closing evolution of sidecar structures Manage commercial relationships with reinsurers through meetings and market events Collaborate with internal partners to define specific reinsurance solutions Provide reinsurance reporting to top management, governing bodies, and supervisors Degree in Economics, Engineering, or Law 3-5 years of experience in insurance and/or reinsurance Master’s degree in insurance or risk management preferred As a Reinsurance buyer at Generali Group’s Head Office, you design and secure optimal reinsurance protections to support the P&C; portfol… #J-18808-Ljbffr
