ph3bRole Summary /b /h3 pAs bPR Manager /b at Mandarin Oriental Cristallo, Cortina, you will play a key role in building and strengthening the resort's reputation throughout the pre-opening phase and ongoing operations. Reporting to the bMarketing Communications Manager /b, you will be responsible for executing the resort's public relations strategy, managing media and influencer relationships, coordinating partnerships and events, and creating compelling brand stories that position Mandarin Oriental Cristallo as one of Europe's leading luxury alpine destinations. You will ensure consistency in messaging, tone of voice and brand image across all external communications while supporting the successful launch and long-term visibility of the resort. /p h3bKey Responsibilities /b /h3 h3bPre-Opening Responsibilities /b /h3 ul liSupport the development and execution of the pre-opening PR strategy in collaboration with the Marketing Communications Manager and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Corporate Communications. /li liBuild awareness and anticipation for the opening of Mandarin Oriental Cristallo, Cortina through targeted media outreach and strategic storytelling. /li liDevelop and maintain comprehensive press materials including press kits, fact sheets, biographies, media assets and opening announcements. /li liEstablish relationships with key Italian and international media, luxury travel editors, journalists, influencers and opinion leaders. /li liCoordinate media visits, influencer stays, familiarization trips, interviews and pre-opening press events. /li liSupport the planning and execution of the official opening ceremony and other high-profile launch activations. /li liCollaborate with operational departments to ensure all communications accurately reflect the resort's products, services and guest experiences. /li liAssist in identifying strategic partnerships that enhance brand visibility before opening. /li /ul h3bOperational Responsibilities /b /h3 ul liExecute the annual Public Relations strategy in alignment with the resort's commercial objectives and Mandarin Oriental brand standards.
/li liBuild and maintain strong relationships with local, national and international media, influencers, tourism boards and luxury brand partners. /li liManage media enquiries, interviews, press visits, photo shoots and influencer collaborations. /li liCoordinate PR events, product launches, seasonal campaigns and brand activations. /li liProduce high-quality communication materials including press releases, media alerts, speeches, invitations, newsletters and editorial content. /li liEnsure consistency in storytelling, messaging, tone of voice and visual identity across all external communications. /li liMonitor media coverage and prepare regular PR performance reports, campaign evaluations and media analysis. /li liCoordinate external PR agencies and maintain close alignment with the Marketing Communications Manager and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group Corporate Communications. /li liSupport community engagement initiatives, CSR activities and destination partnerships that reinforce the resort's reputation. /li liWork closely with the Marketing, Digital Marketing and Social Media teams to maximise integrated campaigns and storytelling opportunities. /li liSupport crisis communication activities when required, ensuring timely and brand-appropriate messaging. /li liStay informed about luxury hospitality, travel and lifestyle trends to proactively identify media opportunities and emerging industry topics. /li /ul h3bQualifications Experience /b /h3 pThe ideal candidate will possess: /p ul liMinimum b3–5 years of experience /b in Public Relations within luxury hospitality, luxury lifestyle brands or a leading PR agency.
/li liPrevious bpre-opening experience /b in luxury hospitality is highly desirable. /li liStrong network of Italian and international media contacts within the luxury travel, hospitality and lifestyle sectors. /li liProven experience managing media relations, influencer collaborations and luxury events. /li liExcellent writing, editing and storytelling skills, with exceptional attention to detail. /li liStrong understanding of luxury brand positioning, reputation management and media relations. /li liExcellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills. /li liHighly organised with outstanding planning, prioritisation and project management capabilities. /li liCreative, proactive and solution-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. /li liStrong presentation and organisational skills. /li liFluency in bEnglish and Italian /b is essential; additional languages are considered an advantage. /li /ul h3bOur Commitment to You /b /h3 h3bLearning Development /b /h3 pYour success is our success.
