The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. /p pThe NCIA provides a wide range of services, including: /p ul liCyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO's communication networks and information systems against cyber threats. /li liCommand and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO's military commanders to plan and execute operations. /li liSatellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces. /li liElectronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks. /li liInformation Management: The NCIA manages NATO's information technology infrastructure, including its databases, applications, and servers. /li /ul pOverall, the NCIA plays a critical role in ensuring the security and effectiveness of NATO's communication and information technology capabilities. /p h3The program /h3 h3Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS) /h3 pThe NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO’s principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides,
maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V. /p pTo provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce. /p h3Role ID – C /h3 h3Role Background /h3 h3Role Duties and Responsibilities /h3 pIdentifies and resolves minor design issues. /p ul liIdentifies alternative design options and seeks guidance when deviating from established design patterns. /li /ul pNetwork design /p ul liSpecifies the technical configurations and components required for a small network or a network segment in a more complex infrastructure. /li liFollows organisational architectures and standards. Systems integration and build /li liConducts tests as defined in an integration test specification and records the details of any failures. /li liAnalyses and reports on integration test activities and results. /li liIdentifies and reports issues and risks. /li /ul pNetwork support /p ul liContributes to the operational configuration of network active devices. /li liAssists in the investigation and resolution of problems originating from network infrastructure /li liAssists with specified maintenance procedures for Siemens telephone switchboard, Desk/DECT phone, VoIP/VoSIP phones.
/li liSet up and manage the AV infrastructure for digital meetings and events; from AV equipment to streaming and recording; /li liWrite, plan and execute a full AV implementation plan in alignment with customers, providing excellent customer service and communication; /li liPrepare and manage a (mobile) streaming studio including videowalls, greenscreen, etc.; /li liCreate and write a technical plan and Run of Show for larger digital/hybrid conferences and events; /li liInstruct and supervise a technical team during larger digital/hybrid conferences and events; /li liDesign and create jingle's, banners, and other digital signage required for digital events and meetings; /li liSupport CISCO WebEx, MS Teams and other event/meeting platforms for Digital/Hybrid Events; /li liProvide first level support and troubleshooting for customers experiencing issues with conference /li lischeduling, video bridging, recording etc.; /li liIdentify, verify and diagnose suspected trouble AV/VTC Resources and Services through monitoring; /li liEnsure corrective actions are taken under direction of NDW Engineers (VTC) /li /ul h3Essential Skills, Experience and Certifications /h3 pAt least two years in working at an International or multinational organization. /p pAt least two years' experience in managing Cisco Local Area Network devices and end user devices. /p pExperience in troubleshooting and configuring Polycom VTC devices. /p pExperience in setup and operating Audio/ visual devices to support indoor and outdoor events /p h3Working Location /h3 ul liSigonella, IT /li /ul h3Working Policy /h3 ul li80% Onsite /li liWork will be on site; out of business hours support may be expected. /li liStrong Customer Oriented skills are required. /li liOn site, in presence assistance during ongoing meeting will be required to quick fix any issue. /li liHardware deployment to users office duties /li /ul h3Travel /h3 ul liSome travel to other NATO sites may be required /li /ul h3Security Clearance /h3 ul liValid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
