ph3Job Description /h3 /brpWe are seeking a motivated Mechanical or Aerospace Engineer to join our Vacuum Technologies RD team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, verification, and validation of dry scroll vacuum pumps and rotary vane vacuum pumps, supporting new product development as well as sustaining engineering activities. /p /brpThe role will focus on the design and development of vacuum pump components and assemblies, with particular emphasis on structural analysis and mechanical integrity assessment. The engineer will leverage simulation tools and experimental methods to evaluate and optimize product performance, reliability, and durability. The position also includes fluid dynamic and thermal analyses, as well as experimental validation activities, to support overall product development and performance optimization. /p /brh3Key Responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDesign and develop mechanical components and assemblies for scroll and rotary vane vacuum pumps. /li /brliPerform structural analyses using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools to evaluate strength, stiffness, fatigue life, and reliability of components and systems. /li /brliSupport fluid dynamic and thermal analyses to evaluate flow behavior, heat transfer, and overall product performance. /li /brliPlan, execute, and analyze experimental validation activities to correlate simulation results with physical testing. /li /brliDevelop and perform tests to verify structural, fluid dynamic, and thermal performance. /li /brliSupport noise and vibration investigations through data acquisition and analysis. /li /brliDevelop test plans, analyze results,
and generate technical reports and recommendations. /li /brliCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and drive product improvements. /li /brliContribute to the continuous improvement of simulation methodologies, testing processes, and product performance. /li /brliSupport root cause investigations and corrective actions related to field and manufacturing issues. /li /br /ul /brh3Qualifications /h3 /brul /brliMaster's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline. /li /brliTypically 4+ years of relevant experience in mechanical product development, analysis, or validation engineering. /li /brliStrong knowledge of mechanical design, structural analysis, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA). /li /brliProficiency with CAD software and engineering simulation tools; experience with ANSYS Mechanical, ANSYS Fluent, and ANSYS CFX is strongly preferred. /li /brliKnowledge of fluid dynamics and heat transfer principles. /li /brliExperience with experimental testing and validation of mechanical systems. /li /brliExperience with noise and vibration data acquisition and analysis. /li /brliFamiliarity with test instrumentation, sensors,
