Founded by a pioneer in data centre REITs, CloudHQ delivers flexible, efficient, and resilient data centre solutions that empower the world’s largest technology companies. /p h3Role Overview /h3 pThe Infrastructure Project Manager, EMEA is responsible for managing the delivery of CloudHQ’s utility infrastructure across multiple hyperscale data center projects in the region. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all infrastructure meets the highest standards of reliability, efficiency, and scalability. /p pThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex utility projects, utility infrastructure coordination, as well as experience working with cross-functional project and operations teams in a fast-paced, global environment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEstablish project leadership for infrastructure projects, build and leverage partnerships with internal teams (development, construction, operations, finance, legal) and external stakeholders (consultants, authorities having jurisdiction, utilities providers, project partners, contractors) /li liCoordinate with and support (from a delivery perspective) CloudHQ’s EMEA Energy Lead in negotiations with utilities and grid operators to secure power capacity and manage interconnection processes. /li liLiaise closely with EMEA Power Systems Engineer to ensure a coordinated approach to delivering power solutions across the region. /li liLead project governance, reporting and approvals processes. /li liEnsure clear communication of project status, risks and identify where key decisions can be made or escalation to executive leadership is required. /li liLead projects from early-stage feasibility through construction to delivery of all CloudHQ’s utility Infrastructure across EMEA. /li liDefine and manage scope, budget, programme, and development strategy. /li liSupport Test-fit feasibility in respect of utility infrastructure requirements, planning and zoning constraints. /li liSupport power, water, fibre and water infrastructure availability. /li liConfirm alignment with project business cases and manage internal investment approvals. /li liSubsequently, with technical teams, lead the development of concepts,



basis of design, and detailed design packages for utility infrastructure (Substations, cable interconnections) /li liManage and coordinate multi-disciplinary consultants (architects, engineers, planners, project cost management consultants); /li liWith consultant support develop and manage project budgets and ensure cash flow alignment /li liCoordination and management of internal and external resources, and driving results in: /li liChange management /li liProcurement, confirming strategies, scope definitions and ensure Employer’s Requirements are complied with; /li liProactive management of market conditions and ensuring an agile approach to adaption (supply chain, contractor availability, utilities constraints); /li liGoal alignment/Stakeholder management; /li liRisk identification and ensuring appropriate mitigation measures are in place; /li liEstablish reporting protocols on scope and schedule as required, ensuring effective reporting to senior leadership; /li liEnsure establishment of a robust and detailed project programme that can be used to negotiate /li liEnsure delivery awareness, applying practical understandings of construction sequencing and logistics, commissioning and integration of systems to be able to handover to operational teams /li liEnsure projects are fully prepared for construction /li liEnsuring compliance with Environmental, Health Safety (EHS) regulations, and requirements. This should not be limited to your specialism but be across all disciplines /li liLiaise with our customers to assist them in the delivery of their preferred solutions into CHQ Data Centers and be part of the team that makes us the data centre provider of choice /li liConsult with global CHQ colleagues to ensure that best practice is uniform across all our developments, irrespective of geographic location /li liChampion CHQ initiatives on all projects; and /li liAdhere to and promote the core values of CHQ. /li /ul h3Required Experience Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred, relevant project management experience in delivery of large-scale utility infrastructure also acceptable. /li liMinimum 8+ years’ experience in delivery of utility connections or similar complex technical projects across EMEA; Data Centre experience preferred /li liBackground in complex industrial, grid infrastructure, pharmaceutical, or mission critical / high-tech development preferred if no data centre experience. /li liFluency in English is required.
